Elisa Aiassa’s freestanding artworks extend her material research beyond the canvas, transforming matter, form, and symbolism into three-dimensional presences that inhabit space independently. Human figures, natural elements, and symbolic details come together in compositions that explore the relationship between body, matter, energy, and the cosmic dimension.
Sculpture thus becomes a further expression of the artist’s research: from matter on the canvas to matter conquering space.
