Prosperity is a freestanding sculptural work that takes Elisa Aiassa’s artistic research towards a dimension of abundance, generation, and connection. At the centre of the composition, a black female figure supports a large circular materic element, its dark surface crossed by golden reflections. The circle becomes the focal point of the work: a primordial form evoking the ideas of wholeness, cycles, and potential.
Around the central figure, other human presences appear at different positions and scales, creating a composition in which the individual seems to multiply and extend beyond itself. The female figure thus assumes an archetypal presence, while gold introduces a dimension of value, energy, and symbolic richness.
The verticality of the work and its black base give the composition a strong sculptural presence. Matter, silhouette, and reflective surface enter into dialogue, creating a work that goes beyond representation to construct, within space, a symbol of growth and expansion.
In Prosperity, matter thus becomes a metaphor for what can be generated and shared: a form of richness that is not merely material, but also inner, relational, and spiritual.
Created in 2026, Prosperity was presented in Siena at the Siena Experience Italian Hub as part of the group exhibition Il Cenacolo delle Donne, an exhibition project dedicated to women’s artistic research and creativity.
