BIO
MATERIC Art
And Symbolism
Elisa Aiassa is an Italian artist born on January 6, 1978 in Asti, whose life has been shaped by the incessant desire to paint. For her, painting is not only an artistic activity, but it is almost like breathing: an essentiality that permeates every aspect of her existence.
Her artistic path develops mainly in the field of materials, where she finds the maximum expression of her creativity. Through the material itself, Elisa communicates a message of rebirth, transformation and renewal. Recycled materials are her canvas and, with mastery and sensitivity, she shapes them giving them life and meaning.
In her works, Elisa explores the universal symbolic language, combining elements of nature and humanity to express deep emotions and reflections on life and its constant change. Each brushstroke, each layer of matter, tells a story of change and metamorphosis, reflecting her philosophy of life.

Rebirth is the dominant theme that permeates her work. Nothing truly ends, but transforms, evolves, regenerates. Through an alchemical process, Elisa transforms what to the common eye might seem useless into extraordinary works of art, offering a new and profound perspective on the beauty hidden in everyday things .
His creations are not only works of art, but testimonies of his vision of the world, of his ability to see beyond appearances and to find beauty and meaning in every form and material.

My Artistic Vision

A Deep Connection

My thoughts are deep and thought-provoking. I see art as a means to connect people to a broader, often inaccessible dimension. I believe that 95% of our existence remains unexplored, while we limit ourselves to living within the 5% of our daily reality. This reflection pushes me to explore deeper meanings.

I use natural elements and energetic materials in my art because I believe they effectively draw attention to what unites us and what transcends our individual experiences. Nature is a universal language that speaks to everyone, beyond cultural and social barriers. My artworks serve as portals to this invisible dimension, encouraging viewers to reflect and feel part of something greater.
In this process, art becomes a vehicle for transformation, a way to explore and reveal latent potentials that often remain in the shadows. I invite people to step out of their comfort zones and embrace the uncertainty of the unknown.

It is a journey that can lead to greater awareness and a deeper connection with the world and others.

My artistic vision has the power to inspire and guide people toward a deeper understanding of themselves and their place in the universe.
I will continue to explore and create because my work has the potential to open doors to that 95% I so strongly wish to unveil.
