Artist
Elisa Aiassa is an Italian painter who transforms matter with an alchemical touch, creating works of art that reveal the beauty of metamorphosis. The number 3 is the leitmotif of her material and pictorial creations.

In Number Six, Elisa Aiassa takes the research of The Numbers Cycle towards a dimension of listening, love, and belonging. Following the movement and exploration of Five, Six introduces a more intimate and relational dimension: the ability to feel others, to welcome, to care, and to recognise oneself as part of a community.
The composition is dominated by a large winged figure emerging from the white surface of the canvas as a presence suspended between the visible and the invisible. The wings, created through layers of fabric, plaster, and colour, occupy much of the space and give the work a strong vertical presence. At the centre, a human form appears to emerge from the matter, almost protected and enveloped by the extension of the wings.
The image of the angel introduces the theme of protection, but also that of a silent presence that accompanies and supports. The Guardian Angel becomes an archetypal figure representing the dimension of the human being that is oriented towards others: care, closeness, listening, and the willingness to offer love.
The dominant white amplifies this suspended and spiritual dimension, while the warmer tones of the fabric and the metallic nuances introduce an earthly and corporeal element. Matter thus seems to oscillate between two dimensions: the tangible reality of the surface and the immaterial dimension evoked by the wings.
The number 6, clearly visible in the lower part of the composition, becomes the code through which this energy takes form. It is not simply a graphic element, but a presence that connects the numerical symbol with the figure of the Guardian Angel and with the theme of love as a force capable of creating bonds.
The mixed-media technique — plaster, acrylic, metals, natural stones, and textiles — contributes to making this tension perceptible. The folds and layers of fabric suggest movement and softness, while the stones and metallic elements introduce weight, structure, and solidity. The surface thus becomes a meeting place between delicacy and strength, body and spirit.
In Number Six, I Feel does not refer solely to individual perception, but to a form of sensitivity directed towards others. To feel means to recognise connections, to perceive what exists beyond one’s own individuality, and to understand community as a space of reciprocity and care.
The figure of The Guardian Angel therefore becomes a symbol of a presence that accompanies, protects, and supports: a force that does not impose itself, but manifests through the ability to love and to be there for another.
Six is the number of love that creates bonds. It is listening becoming care, sensitivity becoming presence. It is the Guardian Angel.
